Re-claiming the PPI that you gave to your insurance company is very simple.
And all you need to do is follow some basic steps. First how long ago did you get your PPI? Let say it was seven years ago, but it is still active. So what can you do to reclaim PPI?
Your claim is older and there is a better chance of them saying sorry you cannot claim it back.
As there is a good chance that they are going to claim that you knew about the mis-selling and did nothing about it. However, you don’t have anything to lose, so file the claim, if you do not have the paper work. Reclaim and ask them to send you the paper work they will have it. Write a letter to the company that sold you the PPI and ask them for your money back. You should be warned that your first letter might not get the reaction you want, you will need to do a follow up letter. However, remember if you start the reclaim your insurance will be cancelled so, make sure that is what you really want to do, because of the recent court ruling the chances of getting a reclaim is good if you keep at it.
